The forum was attended by representatives of influential European and world organizations, representatives from Asian countries.
8 official delegates from Ukraine were represented.
Before the opening of the Conference, the participants of the Forum laid flowers in front of the monument to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in Nakhichevan and expressed their respect.
Later, the forum participants visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum. The exhibits, which reflect the life and activity of the leader Heydar Aliyev in the museum fund, aroused great interest among the guests of the event.
The anthem of Azerbaijan was played for the first time at the forum, which was attended by professionals and representatives of delegates from countries and local organizations.
The Minister of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Rafael Aliyev opened the Forum with a speech on the opening and congratulations and said that important measures are being taken in the Autonomous Republic in the field of audit, management, implementation of IFRS and accounting. Measures to improve financial, budgetary, tax, accounting and auditing activities are carried out by state organizations, legal entities and individuals.
It is noted that training courses, seminars, conferences and other necessary measures for the implementation of financial reporting, international accounting standards and documentation rules are being held today. The Center for Financial Education under the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic works to improve the training of employees in the field of financial and accounting in the Autonomous Republic.
Vice President of the International Union of Economists, member of the Advisory Board of the Association of Professional Financial Managers of Azerbaijan, MP, Academician Ziyad Samadzadeh said in his speech that the statistics of the last 20 years confirm the dynamic development in all sectors of the economy in Nakhichevan. It is estimated that the autonomous republic gained this advantage under the blockade, at a time when 20 percent of the country was under occupation. Of course, all this was achieved thanks to the success of the political legacy of leader Heydar Aliyev.
The role of government regulation in improving accounting, accountants and auditors in accordance with the principles of the Forum, world experience on transparency in financial reporting, current challenges: tax and financial accounting, national standards of tax and financial reporting, international accounting standards, were in presentations all speakers who covered other topics.
Then a gala evening was organized for the forum participants at the Duzdag Hotel.

At the Gala Reception, Helen Khorikova presented LUCA Awards from London to the best 2 representatives of Azerbaijan: Ziyad Samadzad, Chairman of the Union of Economists, Vice President of the International Union of Economists, Member of the Advisory Board
Association of Professional Financial Managers of Azerbaijan (APFM, ICFM & ICB), member of the Milli Mejlis, academician and Vahid Navruzov, Chairman of the Audit Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The distinction and award was presented to the Ministry of Finance of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan, and gifts for the organizers and partners of the Forum.
Helen Khorikova was awarded the “Guest of Honor”.
All Ukrainian delegates and other representatives were also presented with gifts and awards, in particular and honors, in particular: Yvgeniya Averina, The Best Specialist of the Year from Law International basis.
