For 15 years, awards to winners from different countries of the world were personally presented by the President of the International Network ICB Global & ICFM Global, Mr. Garry Carter, and influential VIPs.
Several nominees of ICFM Ukraine were awarded LUCA, most of whom came to London to be personally presented with this highest award by the Institute’s Patron ICFM & ICB Global, Royal Patron HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO CD KStJ.

This is our 15th Luca Awards ceremony and each year the number of entries grows and standard of those entries, with their stories of growth, success and personal achievement continue to astound us. We thank the judges for their time, effort and good judgment in their incredibly difficult task of selecting winners from the shortlists. Nothing could endorse more the work of bookkeepers and ICB than when a judge comments that. “The feedback, and testimonials from clients are as life affirming as it gets”.
ICB is passionate about the work that bookkeepers do and the huge contribution they make to the success of the business community. Bookkeepers give back the Friday nights, the sleepless nights, the family movie nights. They bring order and security to the businesses they work with and ICB is honoured to be the bookkeepers professional body of choice.

Visit to The House of Lords, Parliament’s UK
Presentation of a personal award for one of the representatives of the official Ukrainian delegation, and landmark events to The House of Lords, Parliament’s UK, where parliamentary hearings were taking place at that time, and we were able to watch the parliamentarians on the screen, during the security check.
At the House of Lords, we were personally met by the Herald master, who led us to the hall on the River Terrace overlooking the River Thames, along which boats sail and an incredible view of famous symbols opens: the “London Eye” Ferris wheel, Saint Thomas’s Hospital, Westminster Bridge and The Park Plaza Westminster, where our global events of the week Summit & Luca Awards 2024 and VIP business meeting’s were held.
The Honorable Herald Master officially opened the event and interestingly told the history and traditions of The House of Lords, during lunch, communication and our discussions.

Mr. Garry remembered how he once visited our countries, their special features, sincerity and mentality.
His memory of 2 visits to Ukraine was very pleasant and sensitive: incredible and hospitable Kyiv during the International Forum and Conference, events that brought together 50 representatives from different countries of the world; Garry Carter’s dedication to Ukrainian Cossacks and our gifts; his crossing of customs with adventures at Boryspil airport (due to some gifts from co-founder Aleksander Butenko … unfortunately, he is no longer with us … but in his honor, one of the Luca Awards in London nominations in the Risk Management category was founded, we are infinitely grateful for the memory for Alexander).
We heard a funny story about the wonderful Ukrainian gifts that Mr. Garry brought from Kyiv to London, and placing them in the lobby of the London office of ICB Global & ICFM Global, where he dressed a mannequin in Ukrainian Cossack attire, and thus all visitors were greeted by our Cossack … and suddenly one of the nights, the police called Mr. Garry: about someone breaking into their office… hiding… police cars arrived right away… and then it turned out that it was our Ukrainian Cossack.

On the eve of Merry Christmas together at the Carter family home. Mr. Garry and June Carter invited us to their home, their home is located in a famous house, and they live 10 minutes from the Parliament of the United Kingdom, for VIP communication in a close circle of friends and our partners from ICB Global & ICFM Global, and it is not surprising that at the end of our special meeting, no one left empty-handed from them, for each guest there were personalized personal gifts for Merry Christmas and a wonderful book about Great Britain, which we will gladly place in our office, in a separate place of the museum-honors, like the rest of the gifts from our other esteemed partners.
Thank you to the incredible Carter’s family, for our many years of partnership, which has become for all of us – a family circle, meeting together on the eve of Merry Christmas.

Level Certification course “Accountant -Practitioner”, Certificate ICB, UK.
