Azerbaijan, Baku. The international community gathers together at the VIII Eurasian Forum of Accountants and Auditors. Official events and meetings held from September 18 to 20, 2024.
The best world experts and professionals from 20 countries of the world, about 1000 participants, gathered at the international site of the Forum.

An incredible event that gathered financiers, auditors, accountants, economists and the international business community from Europe and Asia.

The forum was held on the theme “Responsibility and transparency in the green economy” and was dedicated to the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”.

The official opening of the Forum was held at the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan, where a rich cultural program was organized that introduced foreign guests to the culture and art of Azerbaijan.

From Ukraine, Olena Nusinova made an interesting presentation in English with the main topic on a current topical topic:
“Managing a Giant: Corporate Governance as the Heartbeat of Finance in International Corporations.”

About the speaker Olena Nusinova – MBA, ICFM, head of the company’s corporate rights department, member of the oil and gas business council, business coaching, advisor on corporate and investment projects in global companies, multiple winner of Luca Awards ICB Global & ICFM Global in London, participant and speaker of many world conferences, summits, business forums, a participant in television appearances on current business issues, a member of the Board of Trustees of ICFM UK Ukraine & ICB.

The event was attended by representatives of state and private organizations, employees of international organizations, corporate and individual members of APFM, in total about 600 experts.
The participants of the forum especially emphasized the importance of the transition to international audit and international accounting standards in the field of increasing transparency and strengthening financial control, with the implementation of comprehensive measures that created conditions for improving the financial system in countries based on international requirements and strengthening the integration of the country’s economy into the global agricultural system with taking into account the economic challenges of the new era.

Participants and speakers of the Forum exchanged opinions on current topics related to the green economy, sustainable development and the application of ecology.

♻️ As part of the events, a meeting was held between ICB Global & ICFM Global, ICB UK CEO Amі Copeland and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, who visited Azerbaijan on the eve of the Forum, and a meeting with John Patterson, co-chairman of the British-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the British Chamber of Commerce of Azerbaijan with the organizer of APFM ICB/ICFM UK in Azerbaijan and the Baku Higher Oil School. During the meeting, discussions were held on the role of international qualifications in the professional development of local accountants, the ethics of accounting and reporting in the conditions of a green economy, and it was considered appropriate to hold a diploma awarding ceremony at the embassy for trainees who scored the highest score in the exams from the ICB/ICFM UK programs.

♻️ The closing took place in a friendly atmosphere with networking at the incredible Moon Crown venue, with a shining observation deck on the Caspian Sea with a huge cake and gifts, with a tour for participants of the country’s historical monuments.

All participants of the countries spoke with words of thanks to all participants and delegates, to the organizers and partners of the Forum, and with an invitation to future new joint meetings with partnerships in other participating countries.
